What Bogey does
Everything a good caddie does with a pencil, done from the scorecards themselves.
Who's winning, any time
Ask who's leading, where you stand or how many holes someone has played. Bogey answers from the live scorecards, not a stale total.
Skins, the Nassau and match play
Skins with carryovers, all three Nassau bets, holes up and dormie in match play — tallied hole by hole on gross scores, with a stake per game or for nothing at all.
Who owes whom
Every game netted into one number per pair, so nobody does sums in the car park. GolfTracker never touches the money — you settle up.
The turn and the final
When the group makes the turn and when the last card is in, Bogey sends the standings to everyone's phone — the leader, the skins and who owes what.
Every changed score, on the record
A score changed after it was entered is logged — who, which hole, old and new, and when — and the whole group can see it. A change after the final re-announces the corrected result.
The organizer's view
At a tournament, organizers see every change in Live Scoring, with their own overrides marked as theirs. A private leaderboard stays private — Bogey won't recite it.
Why Bogey's numbers are right
An AI that adds up skins in its head will occasionally add them up wrong, and a referee that miscounts is the cheating problem in reverse. So Bogey doesn't do the arithmetic.

The first score on a hole is just a score. Anything after that is a correction, and corrections go on the record.
Every change is recorded
Who changed it, which hole, the old score, the new score and the time. A replayed save from a phone that lost signal is not a change and isn't logged.
The whole group can see it
The record sits beside the round, and anyone can ask Bogey, "Did anyone change a score?"
A late fix gets announced
Change a score after the final result and Bogey re-announces the corrected result to everyone, with exactly what changed.

Does Bogey make up scores or guess who's winning?
No. Bogey never works out a number itself. GolfTracker's scoring engine — the same one behind the leaderboard and the settle-up — computes every standing, skin, bet and balance from the posted scorecards, and Bogey only puts those numbers into words. If the scores don't answer a question, Bogey says it doesn't have that yet instead of guessing.
Can GolfTracker keep score for skins, a Nassau and match play?
Yes. Set up skins, a Nassau or match play for your group with a stake per game, or just track them for nothing. How does GolfTracker stop people changing their scores?
Every score changed after it was first entered is kept on a permanent record: who changed it, which hole, the old score, the new score and the time. Everyone in the round or on the trip can see that record and can ask Bogey, the AI caddie, whether anyone changed a score. At a tournament the organizer sees every change in Live Scoring, and an organizer's own overrides are marked as the organizer's. A change after the final result re-announces the corrected result to the group.
Does GolfTracker handle the money for side bets?
No. GolfTracker never holds, moves or collects betting money. Bogey tells the group who owes whom, netted across every game into one number per pair, and the group settles up however it always has. Only the people playing in a round can see what is riding on it.
Can Bogey answer questions at a golf tournament?
Yes. At a GolfTracker tournament, players ask Bogey who's leading and where their own team stands, and Bogey answers from the event's official leaderboard. If the organizer has kept the leaderboard private, Bogey keeps it private too. The organizer sees every score changed after it was entered in Live Scoring, with their own overrides marked. Ask Bogey in the GolfTracker app arrives with the next update; the event website's chat already answers leaderboard questions.
