How to Email Your Registered Players
![]()
Communications, under Website in your admin, sends a branded email straight to your Registrants, Players or Sponsors — no separate email tool required, and it sends with your site's own header, colors and reply-to address automatically.
Step 1: Open Communications and pick your audience
Three tabs — Registrants, Players, Sponsors — each showing a live count so you know exactly how many people you're about to reach.
Step 2: Start from a template, or write your own
GolfTracker suggests relevant templates based on what's set up on your event — for example, a prompt to invite players to the GolfTracker app if you haven't sent that yet.
Step 3: Write your subject and message
A blank line starts a new paragraph. The message sends with your site's branding built in, so you don't need to design anything.
Step 4: Always send yourself a test first
Send test to me delivers the exact email to your own inbox before anyone else sees it — check formatting and links before it goes out for real.
Step 5: Send to your audience
The send button shows exactly how many people will receive it — for example, "Send to 12 registrants" — so there's no guessing before you commit.
A practical first message once your event is live: let registered golfers know about the GolfTracker app for live scoring and their check-in QR code, well before event day.
This is one piece of the full setup — see the complete walkthrough for every step from signup to event day.
